NHS App

We have organised a training session on Monday 26th February to help patients to set up/understand APP.  We currently have 16 patients attending.  If successful, we will run another session in the future.

PPG – Surrey Heartlands Invite

Surrey Heartlands would like to welcome our PPG members to join them for a virtual network meeting on Thursday 7th March at 5pm. The meeting is an opportunity to connect with other PPG counterparts within North Tandridge to share and support ideas and resources with each other.  Please contact me directly if you would like the link to attend.

Q&A

Q - re call wait time, when number 1 in the queue and still waiting for a long time.

A - Explained that if the receptionist is on their own (i.e. during lunch time) they could get caught up dealing with patients that are at the desk and unable to answer the calls.

Also, advised that if there are more than 5 people in the queuing system, there is a call back option to save holding.

Annual reviews – PPG member asked if we were on schedule with annual reviews.  SK and SOB responded to advise that we are now slightly behind as our phlebotomist is on long-term leave so we do not have as many blood appointments.  We should catch up in the next 2 months.

AOB

Currently, patients can attend Caterham Dene for out of hours appointments (open until 8pm every day).  However, we have listened to feedback and we are delighted to say that these appointments will now be offered in Warlingham 3 evenings a week. (Monday-Wednesday)

We will be operating a clinic at Elizabeth House on Monday and at Warlingham Green on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will enable us to offer our patients a more convenient and local clinic.
