📅 Appointments – Help Us Help You

Between 1st August and 31st October, we had a significant number of booked appointments — but also quite a few that went unattended. If you can’t make your appointment, please cancel it as early as possible. That way, someone else who needs care can be seen sooner.

👋 Meet the Team (and Farewell to Familiar Faces)
Dr Tosin left the practice in August.
Dr Faik joined in September and works Mondays and Wednesdays
Jo (Phlebotomist) will be retiring at the end of December
Natalie has joined our reception team and will be working on Tuesdays.

🏥 Christmas Bank Holiday Closures
We will be closed on Thursday 25th, Friday 26th December and
Thursday 1st January for the Christmas Bank Holiday’s.

Please note we are also closed on Tuesday 11th November from 1pm due to Staff Training.

📌 Please order any prescriptions early to avoid delays

💻 Booking Appointments – Update on Appointment System?
NHS England is encouraging GP practices to implement online triage systems. Elizabeth House aims to maintain both phone and online appointment booking options and does not plan to move to a full online triage model.

Online Forms are available from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm, and are monitored throughout the working day.
Patients not calling to book routine appointments are encouraged to call at any time through the opening day, patients do not need to call at 8am when the practice opens for routine appointments, these can be booked at any time.
🏥 Are you a Military Veteran?
A recent audit has suggested that the practice has a lower than expected number of military veterans coded as such on their medical records. During the flu clinics this season, patients were asked if they are military veterans. This information is recorded to ensure eligible patients can receive priority referrals for service-related conditions. If you are a military veteran and are unsure if this is noted on your medical records please let reception know so we can make sure this is coded for you.

💙 Are You a Hidden Carer?

you’re not alone.
